Dawood provides support and guidance to faith-based organisations on governance, financial management and safeguarding. He is a practicing accountant and certified safeguarding trainer.
Alongside his work supporting faith institutions, Dawood is a media commentator, blogger, teacher of Islamic Studies, inter-faith advisor, and community activist. He has hosted and presented a series of programmes for Islam Channel and British Muslim TV, including ‘iGeneration’ and ‘Living The Life’.
Since 2011, he has served in a voluntary capacity as the Head of Educational and Youth Services at Al-Hira Cultural and Educational Centre in Luton.
