Shakil is passionate about serving all faith communities through training and development. He is keen to help improve safeguarding practice by engaging faith leaders, parents, teachers and adult survivors of child abuse, being one himself. Based in Birmingham, his commitment to this work takes him across the UK. As a professional linguist and a registered trainer, he can deliver training in Urdu, Punjabi or Siraiki too, any time, any day. Sorry, he can’t speak Welsh or Gaelic though!
