How to claim Gift Aid

Gift Aid enables charities to claim back 25p on donations from UK taxpayers. More information on Gift Aid is available from HMRC’s website here.

By the end of this course, you will understand:

  • What gift aid is
  • How to register your charity with HMRC for gift aid
  • The information you need to obtain from donors to claim gift aid
  • How to make claims for small cash donations without a gift aid declaration form using the ‘gift aid small donations scheme’

Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate and course notes.
